Court Case
After extensive preliminary hearings and 15 days in court we are about half way through the court case concerning Stage 2 of Rainbow Shores.
Rainbow Shores and a business group in Rainbow Beach are in favour. The current council is also in favour of the development. Against are DERM, CHIP and a number of other groups and persons. Hearings start again on May 21 and June 12.

Citizens Helping Inskip Peninsula (aka CHIP) is a non profit organisation committed to:
- preventing overdevelopment of the Inskip Peninsula
- representing and assisting family campers in a bush/beach environment
- preventing the environmental degradation of the Inskip area and encouraging an appropriate balance between the use of the area and the environment.
